"So, how are you doing?"

An interesting question to be asked so often...  Always a well-intended gesture, in reality it's such a loaded question, and unless you are the type of person that is honestly able to answer it every time when asked, you have to keep coming up with canned responses that get the question-asker to reconsider- for just a second, the implications of asking such a question in the first place (Such as "I hate myself and I wanna die", a favorite of the late Kurt Cobain). Not to sound petulant or anything, but it's a really hard question to answer with any consistency or accuracy ...

So, for those of you out there that want to know how we're doing, here's a live version of our song "Cloudsplitter", recorded on our recent tour of the Western states...  Also, please visit this blog with regularity so the next time you see one of us at a show you can just buy us a drink and we can talk about this blog...

  1. ooh sorry the end of Cloudsplitter got split!
I hope the clouds made their way back up to where they belong, and the silver fox will have to wait for a favor from the cloud people. What that refers to is an Indian story in a book -title I will get back to you.. ..just some stories about wait and fate and hurry up and wait and ..Yeah it was fun hanging to get the interview with you dudes Fri. and maybe a longer one later, but it was excellent. My editing may improve if you come back and hear the second version after the initial uptake. Later when I asked Fred "How's it going>" at the bar I referred in my mind to the business of the set, the performance, the general night as the biz of being psyched to perform was happening. sometimes fans want to feel what you're feeling or wish they did'nt, but standard how're you doing, is one of those ways. Your approach is so decent and chemical, mellow or true or close. The sage is for warding off any malcontents. The show was hot for the number of people. I like your opening band and Swordfish and Fred in there was was rad. Was Steve-no not then. Keep it powered, Coral
